Description (English): Acharei Mot (“After the Death”) opens by describing the ritual service of Yom Kippur. It then details the prohibitions of offering sacrifices outside of the Tabernacle and of eating animal blood, and ends with a list of forbidden sexual relations. Kedoshim (“Holy”) details dozens of laws regulating all aspects of life, including observing Shabbat, loving one’s neighbor, and leaving portions of a field for the poor.

Description (Hebrew): הפרשה הכפולה אחרי מות-קדושים פותחת בתיאור מפורט של עבודת יום הכיפורים במשכן. בני ישראל מצווים להיות קדושים, ומובאים עשרות דינים בתחומי פולחן וחברה, כגון שבת וקורבנות, איסור כלאיים, מצוות ואהבת לרעך כמוך, החובה להלוות לעניים ואיסור נקמה. בסוף הפרשה מפורטים עונשים בתחום איסורי עריות ועבודה זרה.
